Description by Umah

Made from graphite, pencils, and a little color (my lucky nr 47 red). Modified in photoshop with burn and dodge because the scan ruined my original colors. It represents the pure pain of someone, who, in love with another person, wants to express their love but instead of getting a positive reaction, their feelings just get tossed aside, thrown in the garbage. After such a loss, with a broken heart, that someone can\'t even react, he/she just stands there like a soulless puppet, devoid of any feelings, unable to cry, unable to speak because they are chocked by that sickening feeling of loss, a feeling so horrid that it makes you wish you were dead but unable to die altogether. And then that person just gets stuck there ... with no one to help ... an easy prey for anything or anyone stalking in the shadows ...

Moving and cute at once! It aptly sums up this feeling or rather state. Is it something which affected you recently?...
First, before reading your description, I believed to be something else: I thought it represents how childhood treasures are thrown aside when one grows up. (But later one begins to miss them and return to them...). Not long ago we have seen a large teddy bear thrown into the garbage near our house. It was heartbreaking.

    Hi!
No, it\'s not something that affected me. I just felt like drawing an emotion (and a very powerful one).
Yes indeed it can also represent the discarded childhood treasures (in my opinion art can be understood by each of us in our own way depending on what affected us recently or sometimes in our life).
I\'m glad you enjoy my work :)
