Oil on Canvas, 24 x 36 inches. I've been dying to do another one of these colorful and intense sunsets for ages so I finally managed to get one done. I feel like I've gotten much better at landscapes and colors too. But anyway, the title of the painting is what sums up the general message and meaning behind the work. they are small, but there is a man and woman down on the edge of the cliff looking at the sunset. The man points outward with a cane, drawing attention to the sun. The woman lowers her parasol, which is symbolic of her acceptance of the scene before her. They embrace what is around them. The colors are meant to be intense and swirling to make the sky seem like it bursts with energy.
