Oil on Canvas, 11 x 14 inches. This one is for my sister. She requested a Cherry blossom tree and after she wouldn\'t stop nagging me to get to hers I finally painted it. I tried to incorporate many aspects of Japanese culture and landscape I suppose. And I also tried to include some style similar to the Japanese woodblocks. The tan box is actually my name, at least my first name and the red box shows the date. I tried to do both of those in Japanese too. I really enjoyed painting this and enjoyed the style very much. So, I hope you all like it as much as I do.

You\'ve really written your name in Japanese in the tag? Anyway, the whole painting is lovely again, the style is so interestingly mixed.

Yeah, just my first name though since the rest wouldn\'t fit. And thank you, I really like the style and learned a bit from this painting.
