This is a wonderful piece! It seems that figures of a jigsaw are \"rebelling\" and becoming alive. The different distinguishable layers (\"jigsaw\", road, wall and racers) give it a great depth in its flatness. There is a certain aspect i cannot fully grasp, a certain component that\'s attracting my attention, while leaving me puzzled, just like in equilumminant-optical illusions... :)
And i see a strong commitment to Pop-Art-artists like Keith Haring!

I like the melting of the different patterns. (You may be right, Moritz, Koerie\'s paintings show some influence of Haring but, personally, I prefer these much more than Haring\'s things...)

I fully agree here with you! I really love Koerie\'s work and think it\'s much more interesting and refined than Haring\'s style! :)
