I love your description :)
Anyway, their facial expression, together with the pink background suggesting tensions as well as the old portraits in their talk add up to an exciting atmosphere full of questions and contradictions.

Thanks for your kind comment! :) It's the basic question of every painting of mine...I never fully know (and cannot?) what's going on in my work and at least when my work is done - it's upon the observer to interprete. I like to think of paintings as "answers to certain questions" - so I like the idea that the answer to this particular question I had, is a contradictory question itself... :)
