impasto acrylic abstract painting, one of the newer pieces i have done trying to enrich my textures and change my colors up some, breaking down the line work of my old work and trying some more organic shapes.

Excellent composition and choice of color! also good contrast between the \"massive\" elements and the subtle, small forms at the left side.

moritz - i really appreciate it, i am trying to expand my freedoms in abstract work and break some of the boundaries i have created for myself in the past, this is one i am most proud of in my recent works, i hope to expand on this style and freedom.
custos - thank you for the welcome and the compliment, texture is another area i am experimenting with in my abstracts. this is straight paint, but i have used other material to bulk up texture without the massive use of straight paint.
