Here I looked at a casual shot of my subject smoking and the smoke blowing across part of the face, which was a challenging effect but I am proud of the overall piece.rnI wanted to make it a bright shot and vibrant but at the same time gritty and real, contrasting both the left and right sides of the canvas with this comparison.rnrnThe expression on his face seems banal as in I wanted him to look like he casually smoking and \'unpretty\' and not posing or anything. It puts you directly in the voyeur possition of outside a cafe in a early summers evening.rnrnAgain using the extreme blur and extrme focus to compliment the two focal depths.
