This painting might be my most realistic to date in my view, for its use of colour and light.rnI wanted an outside shot, with natural light on the subject.. Again its harshly cropped like a snapshot and the subject gazes at his garden wall in the back garden.rnrnThe extreme blur of the house in the background behind the wall, this worked well next to the glasses sunglazed reflections of the wall opposite the character.rnrnThe title of the piece symbolizes a mundane evening of someone gazing into nothingness.rn
