Oil on Canvas, 6 x 8 inches. Part of my \"Light Study\" Series of 10 paintings. I decided I wanted to try painting the different times of day in order to help with my larger painting ideas. Lately I\'ve been doing a lot of sunsets, but I want to add more variation on the way my skies are looking. So I\'m taking some time \"off\" while school and band take over half my life to study and learn. This series will draw on artists such as van Gogh, Monet, and Turner. The scene is of Venice and the picture will remain consistent and not change. The only this that will change will be the time of day or light conditions. I hope to be able to learn a lot from these paintings and apply them to my later works.
